During the mid-1990s, the mall saw a renewal as it received a facelift, and many new stores. The mall was purchased by Colonial Properties Trust in the late 1990s and renamed Colonial Mall-Staunton. The mall was sold again in 2007, to First Republic Group Realty, which returned the mall's name to Staunton Mall.[1][2] The mall is also home to a 6-screen cinema.[3]
